About Me:

My name is Syed Ali-Khan.  I am currently a Student at UCF pursuing a degree in the experimental animation track. My work consists of miscellaneous artworks done in different mediums. I am always looking to improve going forwards and I think this track is the best way to show my skills as well as kickstart my career in the animation industry.

Growing up I have always had a passion for making art, I found it fascinated on how people created fictional characters and worlds in which a person can explore and be immersed. So, I took the initiative to learn for myself how it was achieved, it has been a passion of mine since childhood.

Regarding my skillsets, I am familiar with Adobe software's such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After effects. Other programs include Autodesk Maya and Blender for 3D works.

The map illustrates the cross-cultural exchange
between two influential city-states, Athens and Rome. By following the link provided, you may delve briefly into how the two civilizations shared similar principles in architecture, governance, and infrastructure especially road systems. Both Athens and Rome were positioned near water. This made it possible for trade and communication as well as military expeditions. Their closeness has also contributed to exchanging of ideas. Rome, through its conquests especially in ancient Greece, adopted many ancient Greek concepts. This includes politics, philosophy and arts. This shows how deeply interconnected their development was. The ideas that Rome adopted from ancient Greece laid the groundwork for many structures we see today.

This narrative explores the timeless theme of the hubris of mankind. Greed, ambition, and the thirst for power come together with the human condition. These ideas have always been a part of our history. Whether consciously or unconsciously, humanity has continuously pushed boundaries towards dominance. From the earliest civilizations to the modern day, these traits shaped both our biggest achievements and also our failures.

Inspiration examples include Icarus, and Frankenstein. Leaning more towards Frankenstein, I decided to go with a sci-fi setting
